The 35th annual Kentucky Book Fair
The Kentucky Humanities Council presents the 35th annual Kentucky Book Fair at the Frankfort Convention Center in Frankfort, KY in November 2016. The sixth annual Children’s and Young Adult's Day will also be held at the convention center.
The Kentucky Book Fair attracts writers of all genres and patrons of all walks of life in celebration of a shared passion and mutual interest — the importance and promotion of writing and reading. Each year more than 150 authors participate, seeking to promote and support literacy for the public good.
Special events focusing on the Pulitzer Centennial will include Pulitzer Prize winners Maria Henson (1992 Pulitzer winner for editorial writing) and Joel Pett (2000 Pulitzer winner for editorial cartooning). Events include:
- A Master Class for high school students with Pulitzer Prize winning editorial writer and journalist, Maria Henson (Nov. 4)
- Press Event & Social Reception with Pulitzer Prize winners Maria Henson & Joel Pett (Nov. 4)
- My Morning Newspaper & Coffee on the plaza (Nov. 5)
