Adam Johnson to Lead Writing Craft Workshop in Denver

Adam Johnson will run several events in Denver, Colo., this weekend for the Lighthouse Writers Workshop. Every year, the writing workshop invites an acclaimed writer to speak at a lecture and to run a writing session. This year, the theme is "Troubling Narratives." 

Adam Johnson won the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for his novel The Orphan Master's Sona look into the life of a young man living in North Korea. He has most recently published a short story collection in 2015 titled Fortune Smiles. He is currently a professor of English literature at Stanford University. Johnson will first host a reading and conversation with Erika Krouse on Dec. 7 and then will host an intensive writing workshop on Dec. 8. Previous Lighthouse Writer's Studio guests have included Kazuo Ishiguro, George Saunders, and Jennifer Egan.
