Colson Whitehead and Eric Eyre to Speak at West Virginia Book Festival

Colson Whitehead and Eric Eyre will speak at the West Virginia Book Festival on Oct. 2-3.
The 2020 West Virginia Book Festival will be Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2-3, at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center. In addition to presentations from national, local and regional authors, the festival will feature writing workshops, family activities, a literary marketplace and the annual used book sale.
Colson Whitehead won the 2020 Fiction Prize for "The Nickel Boys" and the 2017 Fiction Prize for "The Underground Railroad."
Eric Eyre won the 2017 Investigative Reporting Prize for work on the opioid crisis in West Virginia.
