Elizabeth Rush Discusses 'Rising' in Virtual Talk

"Rising: Dispatches from the New American Shore" by journalist Elizabeth Rush, is UC Santa Barbara’s selection for the 2019–20 season of UCSB Reads. This book highlights the peril of sea level rising and imagines a world in which the ocean covers what's now considered coastline.
Rush will discuss her book and the impact of sea level rise in an online community talk moderated by David Pellow, UCSB Dehlsen Chair and Professor of Environmental Studies.
