Exhibition Launch Event in Chicago
The Pulitzer on the Road traveling exhibition, developed in partnership with the American Library Association, will launch with a special event in Chicago on Wednesday October 14, 2026 at 6pm at the Chicago Public Library’s central location, the Harold Washington Library Center.
The event will feature these Pulitzer winners in conversation with Jelani Cobb, a Pulitzer Board member and dean of the Columbia Journalism School:
- 2025 Fiction winner Percival Everett
- 2026 Fiction winner Daniel Kraus
- 2026 Biography winner Amanda Vaill
- 2022 Breaking News Photography winner Jon Cherry of Getty Images
The conversation will focus on storytelling and America by Pulitzer winners working across many genres. The event will include an audience Q&A but no book signing. Books will be available to purchase.
