Exhibition Launch Event in Dallas

The Pulitzer on the Road traveling exhibition, developed in partnership with the American Library Association, will launch with a special event in Dallas on Saturday October 24, 2026 at 6:30pm at the Dallas Public Library’s downtown location, the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library. 

This exciting event will feature Pulitzer winning 2023 Fiction winner Barbara Kingsolver in conversation with 2026 Music winner Gabriela Frank. Their conversation will focus on storytelling in literature and music as well as the creative process. Frank will also perform on piano. Their discussion will be moderated by author and lyricist Ann McCutchan. 

The event will include an audience Q&A. Books will be sold by our bookselling partner for this event, Barnes & Noble in Dallas. There will not be a book signing.
