Mississippi Book Festival
Hosted by Mississippi Humanities Council and partners
The Mississippi Book Festival, a nonprofit founded by literacy advocates, launched in August 2015 on the State Capitol grounds and continues to draw thousands to its annual “literary lawn party” and book lovers’ celebration.
This year's celebration will feature Pulitzer-winning novelist Richard Ford, Pulitzer-winning poet Natasha Trethewey, and more than 150 other authors signing books and speaking on more than 40 panels.
