In New York: Eboni Booth, Sanaz Toossi and David Henry Hwang on Playwriting, Process and the Pulitzer

Pulitzer on the Road was in New York City for a live event at the New York Library for the Performing Arts featuring three honorees in Drama!

On Monday, January 13, 2025, the "Pulitzer Playwrights in a New Era" event happened at the NYPL at Lincoln Center, featuring 2024 Drama winner Eboni Booth and 2023 Drama winner Sanaz Toossi in conversation with three-time Drama finalist David Henry Hwang. 

During the panel, the playwrights reflected on their creative and professional journeys, playwriting in fraught times, and how the Pulitzer Prize changed their life. This discussion was in anticipation of the landmark Broadway production of Toossi's Pulitzer-winning "English," which will premiere on January 23, 2025 at the Todd Haimes Theatre under the auspices of the Roundabout Theatre Company.
