This special, invitation-only event for prize winners will kick off the Pulitzer Prizes' yearlong Centennial celebration in 2016. Check back here and elsewhere on Pulitzer.org and the Newseum.org for pictures and stories from the largest-ever gathering of Pulitzer winners.

Future events around the country will be free and open to the public.

Throughout 2016, Pulitzer winners and enthusiasts who share the values of the prizes will be hosting events around the United States — almost all of which will be free and open to the public. Both Marquee and Campfires events will present opportunities to interact with some of the most rigorous reporting, well-crafted literature, inspiring poetry and music and arresting imagery of the last 100 years.

Our online events calendar will be updated regularly.

In addition to the Newseum, partners for the kick-off include the Library of Congress and the Washington Post.
