Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photographers and Their Images
Hosted by The Eddie Adams Workshop

The Eddie Adams Workshop (EAW) was created by Pulitzer prize-winning photographer Eddie Adams in 1988. Adams won the 1969 Pulitzer for Spot News Photography for an image captured covering the Vietnam War for the Associated Press (AP).
Since EAW inception, 2,800 photographers have attended the Workshop and 10 of them have gone on to become Pulitzer-prize winners themselves. In the legacy of Eddie Adams, EAW will invite Pulitzer prize-winning photographers, one from each decade to speak about their Pulitzer images. Also included will be a presentation of all the Pulitzer prize images and a conversation with Pulitzer prize-winning EAW alumni. Moderators include Santiago Lyon, AP photo director and Hal Buell former AP photo director.
The program is organized by the Eddie Adams Workshop in collaboration and partnership with Parsons School of Design at The New School. Sponsorship is provided by B&H Photo and Nikon, Inc. Supporters include the Associated Press, Hal Buell Associates and encouragement from the Pulitzer Prize Centennial Committee.
