Pulitzer on the Road in Jackson, Mississippi: Investigative Journalism
Pulitzer on the Road came to Jackson for the Mississippi Book Festival on Saturday September 14, 2024, where Pulitzer Prize-winning authors and journalists discussed their work at two different events.
Investigative Journalism:
2023 Local Reporting winner Anna Wolfe and 2024 Local Reporting finalist Jerry Mitchell, both of Mississippi Today, and 2023 Investigative Reporting contributor Brody Mullins, formerly of The Wall Street Journal, were in conversation with Layne Bruce, executive director of the Mississippi Press Association. This panel was presented by Mississippi Today.
The Pulitzer on the Road event on King & Floyd: Award-Winning Biographies event, featuring 2024 Biography winner Jonathan Eig and 2023 General Nonfiction winner Robert Samuels, can be found here.
We are grateful to the Mississippi Book Festival for filming these events, and to their photographer, Drew Dempsey. Both panels were held in the Old Supreme Court Room in the State Capitol Building in Jackson, Mississippi. For more information, visit the Mississippi Book Festival website.
