Adam Zyglis, 2015 Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist, will explore the role of humor, insight, anger and frustration in our current world through an interactive presentation with his cartoons. Drawing for The Buffalo News, Zyglis works on the cusp of free speech in American democracy. Zach Heiden, legal director of ACLU, will act as moderator for an extensive Q&A. Zyglis will present a lecture, "Editorial Cartoons: Insight or Insult?", at Yarmouth's Merrill Memorial Library and the Portland Public Library.

Zyglis will also visit Yarmouth High School to talk to students in advanced history classes about the issues in editorial cartooning. A display of his cartoons will be on display in Yarmouth Library's art gallery for the month of March surrounding these events.

The Merrill and Portland Library lectures are free and open to the public.
