Ronan Farrow to Speak at RCLA Town Hall Lecture Series
Hosted by the Ringling College Library Association
The Ringling College Library Association (RCLA) in Sarasota, Florida will host a lecture series featuring "a diverse set of speakers who will discuss a range of perspectives about our world today," says 2021 Town Hall chair Ashley Brown. Among the notable speakers is Ronan Farrow, whose investigative journalism for The New Yorker helped to spark Harvey Weinstein’s sexual abuse scandal and the #MeToo movement.
Ronan Farrow won the 2018 Public Service Prize, alongside Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, for explosive and impactful journalism that exposed sexual predators, thus spurring a worldwide reckoning about sexual abuse of women.
