The West Virginia Book Festival is going virtual! Join us online on October 22nd and 23rd for free livestreamed presentations with bestselling national and local authors as well as writing workshops. In-person events including the annual Used Book Sale, Festival Marketplace, and Word Play for Children will not be held this year. Updated schedules and online details will be announced in the coming weeks.

Our featured authors include two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Colson Whitehead, children’s author Jon Scieszka, novelist and musician Josh Malerman, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter and author Eric Eyre, award-winning novelist Denise Giardina, and West Virginia native and author Homer Hickam.
