In this episode, 2019 International Reporting winner Nariman El-Mofty and Associated Press Deputy Director of Photography Enric Martí join Pulitzer Prize Administrator Marjorie Miller at the 2025 International Press Institute (IPI) World Congress and Media Innovation Festival in Vienna to discuss the work of photojournalists covering conflict zones and the editing and publication of searing images despite challenges to access. Then, Marjorie talks to 2025 International Reporting staff contributor Ivor Prickett about the triumphs and vicissitudes faced by the Declan Walsh-led team in covering the conspicuously underreported Sudanese civil war.
